Lucille W. Batson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 5, 2025, at the age of 94, Lucille W. Batson (McPherson, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Flory and Cora Belle Flory (Hoover); her husband James B. "Jim" Batson; her son Wayne Batson (Susan); and her siblings, Virgil Flory, Lois Hanna, Irene Williams, Belle Nelson, Mary Tate, Francis Flory and Benjamin Flory.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Kaufman (Cameron) of Buhler, KS, Janet Barthman (Mike) of Abilene, KS and Bruce Batson of McPherson, KS; her grandchildren, Chris Cheesman (Mandy), Joseph Kaufman (Blanca), Katie Heller (Joe), Ian Tinsley (Bridgette), Brook Batson, Nick Batson, Stefanie Osborne (Dave), Jeremy Batson (Ashley), Eric Batson and Kelly Batson; and her children, Penny Selzer (Harold), Erica Selzer, Patrick Selzer (Katie), Connie and Hoover. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460).
Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or McPherson Church of the Brethren in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
