He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Hammarlund (Ted) of McPherson, KS; his grandsons, Daniel Hammarlund of Derby, KS and Scott Hammarlund of Berthoud, CO; his brother Merlin Freed (Nancy) of Vici, OK; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Freed of Okeene, OK, Judy Freed of Delaware, OH and Lucy Cary of Austin, TX; his niece Beth Ann Kendall Hanning; and his close friend Illa Flax. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
