Royal E. Diers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Royal E. Diers of McPherson, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Royal E. Diers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Walter and Lois Amelia Diers (Davey); and his brother Leon Diers. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Chase; his daughters, Lynette Sovde (Troy) of Galva, KS and Christina Klinkerman (Kevin) of Canton, KS; his siblings, Enos Diers (Bonnie) of Cawker City, KS and Teresa Peterson of Asherville, KS; his grandchildren, Cole Sovde, Caleb Sovde (Katelynn), Grace Klinkerman (Tayln Huff) and Chase Klinkerman (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Norah Gene Sovde and Sky Royal Klinkerman. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stockham Family Funeral Home (205 N Chestnut St, McPherson, KS 67460). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (800 E 1st St, McPherson, KS 67460).
