He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Buschbom (Stegemann) and Elwood William Buschbom. He is survived by: his former wife Alice Mae Prothe; his wife Alice Buschbom of McPherson, Kansas; his children, Jennifer Kinnaird (Brian) of Paynesville and Jason Buschbom (Trish) of McPherson, Kansas; his grandchildren, Caylee Richardson, Cami Richardson, Celbi Richardson, Cason Richardson, Ella Buschbom and Andi Buschbom; and his stepgrandchildren, Wes Kinnaird and Layna Kinnaird. He is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or the Bethany Home and they can be sent in care of the Glidden - Ediger Funeral Home; 222 West Euclid Street; McPherson, Kansas 67460.
