It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard E. Doerflinger Jr. of Meade, Kansas, born in El Dorado, Kansas, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard E. Doerflinger and Helen Doerflinger (Smith); his wife Sherry Tacha; and his siblings, Fred Doerflinger and Evelyn Doerflinger.

He is survived by : his son Tim Doerflinger (Jill) of Wichita; and his grandchildren, Rachel and Jake.

The family would welcome memorials to the Friends of the Meade State Lake in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas.
