Joyce L. Mingus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce L. Mingus of Meade, Kansas, who passed away on May 4, 2026 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce L. Mingus to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Cordes; and her brother Tanis Cordes. She is survived by: her children, Walter Ince (Wanda), Sara Mingus, Christina Ultreras (Mario), Patricia Swaim (Stanley) and Joredyn Boxum; her father Ronald Cordes; and her siblings, Gilbert Hoffman, Bill Cordes, Sandra Cain and Kimberly Hirsh. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (208 E Grant St, Meade, KS 67864).
The family would welcome memorials to LWML or the Joyce Mingus Memorial Fund in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
