It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert E. Wittman of Meade, Kansas, who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary (212 S Fowler St, Meade, KS 67864). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (203 N Park St, Meade, KS 67864). A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the Graceland Cemetery.
