He is survived by: his children, Andrew Friesen of California, Heather Radcliffe, Rebecca Friesen, Michael Friesen of New York and Stephanie Lupton of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Celeste Friesen, Beatrice Radcliffe, Clover Radcliffe and Emerson Radcliffe; and his sister Ruth Anne Smith.
