He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rempel and Marie Rempel (Friesen); and his siblings, Herman, John, Eldon, Pete, Donald, Erma Kauffman and Helen Day.
He is survived by: his wife Alta; his children, Nola Hedlund (Derk) of Montezuma, KS, Steve Rempel (Sandy) of Lenexa, KS, Donna Roulhac of Hesston, KS and DeAnn Rempel of Ashland, KS.; his grandchildren, Brian Roulhac (Ivana), Kevin Roulhac (Lauren), Levi Hedlund (Megan), Logan Hedlund (Kelsey), Lane Hedlund (Lexi), Garrett Rempel (Natalie) and Emily Daniel (Nolan); his great grandchildren, Bristyl, Ellie, Avery, Jonah Roulhac, Luke, Leah Hedlund, Calvin and Jack Hedlund; his brothers, Ed Rempel (Katherine) and Walter Rempel; his brother-in-law Dr. Howard Day; his sisters, Margaret Reimer, Marilyn Harms and Eileen Kaufman (Burt); and his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Rempel and Alvera Thiessen (Wilmer).
