She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Jean Rice (Pugsley) and Herbert Gene Rice; and her sister Phyllis Ann Rossi. She is survived by: her husband Steve Garten; her children, Mike Brown (Tina) of Wichita and Julie Dobbins (Jeramie) of San Diego, California; her stepsons, Justin Garten (Catherine) of Los Angeles and Matthew Garten (Yuna) of Kirkland, Washington; her brother Craig (Dayle Ann); and her grandchildren, Kayla Riley, Andrew Shepherd, Kristin Brown, Katelynn Brown, Danielle Brown, Greyson Dobbins, Landon Dobbins, Brandon Garten and Evan Garten. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church and the Heritage Center and mailed to Larrison Funeral Home, 120 E. Lincoln, Medicine Lodge.
