Carl touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Shelinbarger and Sarah Shelinbarger (Smith); and his siblings, Paul Shelinbarger, Mary Ann Goodrich and Erma Shelinbarger.
He is survived by: his nephews, Mark Goodrich (Tammy) of Melvern and Matt Goodrich (Angie) of Berryton; and his niece Marla Beers (David) of Wakarusa. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Feltner Funeral Chapel (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Waverly Cemetery (2528 Underwood Rd NE, Waverly, KS 66871).
