William Harred Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Harred of Melvern, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Lee and Lois Harred (Womack); his wife June; his son Kenny Harred; and his brother Tommy Harred.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Harred (Tiffanie) of Leroy, Jenny Joonas (Steve) of Linn and Joe Miller (Joni) of Topeka; his close friend Rita Bailey; his sister Glenda Goodwin of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Bryce Joonas (Delaney), Bailey Joonas (Karli), Blaine Joonas (Kaitlyn), Falicity Straughn (Antheus), Zack Harred (Ashton), Walker Harred (Breanna), Cooper Harred (Josie), Cole Harred (Riley) and Daniel May (Kailee Stucky); and his great grandchildren, Adisyn Diver, Lukas Harred, Harper Harred, Sawyer Miller, Lexi Miller, Mason Joonas, Arwen Joonas, June Joonas, Junior, Zariah, Cameron, Samiyah Straughn, Rook Cavender, Dean Trumbo, Kamdyn Harred and Kinzley Harred. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Feltner Funeral Chapel (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lincoln Cemetery (2687 Emmer Rd, Lebo, KS 66856). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Robert Volkman Outlet Park Pavilion.
