Edward left this world on July 4, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward N. Sr. Pratt and Mary Elizabeth Wikidal Pratt. He is survived by: his wife Linda Simmons Longstaff; his sister Sharon Stark of Topeka; his children, Scarlett Pratt, Brandi Bolin, Ed Longstaff (Alice), Lora Longstaff and Caree Cramer (Ron); and his grandchildren, Savannah Reece, Garrett Reece, Alexsus Bolin, Cora Becker (Adam), Robby Bolin, Holly Longstaff, Nicholas Longstaff, Laney White, Ronnie Cramer and Michael Shughart (Chelsa). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rock Creek Bible Church (5257 KS-92, Meriden, KS 66512). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
