With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leodeen Charlene Black of Meriden, Kansas, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Black; and her parents, Ralph Leo McElvain and Hazel McElvain (Disney). She is survived by: her sons, Billy Black of Albuquerque, NM and Larry Black (Becky) of Meriden, KS.; her grandchildren, Baylea Emery of Topeka, KS, Jessica Riordan (John) of Boise, ID and Brayden Black of Meriden, KS; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Suttyn, Gunnar Emery, Scottie and Rex Riordan.
In her memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Meriden Community Library.
