He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lauer and Agnes Lauer; his wife Elsie Lauer; and his siblings, Alyce, Dorothy, Eugene, Leo, Loretta and Gertrude.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl, Jacci, Lisa and Margo; his grandchildren, Niccole, Jeremy, Amanda, Shane, Ali and Jayme; his great grandchildren, Osiria, Isabella and Sage; and his brother Jim Lauer (Jim). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church of the Nativity (3800 W 119th St, Leawood, KS 66209). A rosary will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:15 AM to 10:40 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of Te Nativity (3800 W 119th St, Leawood, KS 66209). A committal service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (8300 Quivira Rd, Lenexa, KS 66215).
