He is survived by: his children, Kevin Mercer of Argonia, KS, Michelle Mercer (Marc Neihof) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jennifer Bolinger (James) of Mulvane, KS and Carrie Mercer of Winfield, KS; and his siblings, Dick Mercer (Debbie) of Conway Springs, KS and Brenda Kline (Marvin) of Milan, KS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established with the Conway Springs Fire Department.
