He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reverend Gerald Martin and Luella Martin (Minter); his wife Melinda Harmon; his daughters, Megan Rivers (James), Sally Martin and Sarah Cox (Bill); his grandchildren, Landon, Reese, Nolan and Everhett; and his sisters, Faye, Vonda, LaDona and Shauna.

In lieu of flowers, memorials donations are suggested to be given to the Junction City First United Methodist Church.
