It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis E. Koster of Minneapolis, Kansas, born in Salina, Kansas, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nicholas P. Koster and Filicitia Koster (Gerstner); and his niece Jennifer Wangerin (Koster). He is survived by : his wife Joyce Eckroat (Lantz); his children, Brian (Emily), Laura Cheah (Shannon), Joe (Candice), Jared (Jill) and Rachel Boelter (David); his stepchildren, Lori Downey (Mike) and Mike Eckroat (Stephanie); and his siblings, Don, Jim (Deb) and Janice Peters. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and 12 step-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the V.F.W. Post #3201 or to the Dennis Koster Scholarship Fund which will be designated at a later date and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
