He was predeceased by : his parents, Dale Boss and Mary Boss (Sword); and his stepgrandson Jose Esparza. He is survived by : his former life partner Janet Condray; his spouse Cherryl Adams-Boss; his children, Eric Boss (Melissa) of Ellis, Genny Hall (Kevin) of Gypsum and Carri Boss-Barry (Troy) of Bennington; his stepchildren, Jason Adams and Amy Levendofsky; his sister Ardis Bareis (Bill); his grandchildren, Emma, Eryn Boss, Emalie, Karson Hall, Bailey, Nolan and Nora Barry; and his stepgrandchildren, Meagan, Priscilla, Chloe, Ayden, Isaac and Cassandra.

Memorials may be made to the United Church of Bennington or the Minneapolis Evening Lions Club and may be left in care of the funeral home.
