With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary L. Sechrist of Minneapolis, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Sechrist and Rosina Sechrist (Stirn); his stepfather Guy "Jack" Ayers; his siblings, Marva Gene, Gerald and Curly Sechrist; and his nieces and nephews, Sue Powell, Melonie Browder, Melissa Browder, Danny Thomas and Jimmy Browder.
He is survived by: his wife June Adams; his children, Gary Sechrist (Barb), Gregory Sechrist (Melea) and Serina Hamann (Mark); his grandchildren, Todd, Kevin (Taylor), Bethany (Jason), Ian (Amber), Robert (Amy), Derrick (Lexi) and Lindsay (Bailey); his sisters, Melba Clanton and Sandra Powell (George); and his sister-in-law Donna Newman. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Ada Antioch Baptist Church or the Salina Rescue Mission.
