With solemn reverence, we commemorate Merlin Peterson of Minneapolis, Kansas, born in Tescott, Kansas, whose life came to an end on July 14, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Oswald and Nora Rebecca Peterson (Werries); his wife Eva; and his brothers, Lloyd and Melburn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lu Ann Stewart (Greg), Jacque Havice (George) and Lisa Parker; and his grandchildren, Kimberley Abresch (Chad), Stephanie Pedersen (Andrew), Preston Stewart (Carissa), Sierra Stewart, Madeleine Stewart (Robert Duff), Jodi DeArmond (Karl), Jenny Weiser (Kyle), Jessica Hess (Taylor), Lindsey Rohde (Seth), Alex Parker and Kaleigh Knox (Devin). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis or Gentiva Hospice of Salina and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
