With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Gartner of Minneapolis, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gartner and Viola Gartner; his parents-in-law, Buck and LaVada Istas; his brother Bill; his siblings-in-law, Sue Weiland and Michael Muehl; his niece Christina Frechette; and his nephew Eric Barnett.
He is survived by: his spouse Francie Istas (Midge); his children, Lori Petersen (Bob) of Bennington, NE, Shelly Coleman (Kyle) of Salina, KS and Kevin Gartner (Shay) of Central City, NE.; his grandchildren, Kyler Gartner (Chelsea) of Houston, TX, Adam Schmitt of Omaha, NE, Kailee Luddy (Patrick) of London, England, Connor Gartner of York, NE. and Chase Gartner of York, NE.; his stepgranddaughter Melissa Smith (Jason) of Wahoo, NE; his siblings, Donald Gartner (Carole) of Carmel, IN, Dennis Gartner (Tina) of Lincoln, NE and Cindy George (Steve) of Lincoln, NE; and his sister-in-law Nancy Muehl of Valley, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
