He is survived by: his wife Jeri Van Meter; his brother Kelly Kriegh (Mary Ellen); his brother-in-law Russ Van Meter (Jana); and his nieces and nephews, Andrew, Christopher, Alexis Kriegh, Angela Oppenheim (Dave), Stephanie Teasley (Rick), Ben Van Meter (Kasindra), Josh Van Meter (Amanda), Jessica Picolet, Aiden, Ada Oppenheim, Kaylee, Johnna Picolet, Samantha and Jonathan Van Meter. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Ron Seyfert Meeting Room in the Central Kansas Extension District (315 W 3rd St, Minneapolis, KS 67467).
