She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Lauppe and Mary Lauppe (Fuhrman); her siblings, William, Paul, George and Norma Overbay; and her son-in-law Terry Tonnessen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Brown (Kelly) of Sublette, Connie VanWinkle (Dave) of Fowler and Pamela Tonnessen of Towner; her grandchildren, Stephanie Boston (Todd) of Elmwood, Dr. Jacob Hessman (Meghan) of Salina, Cooper Tonnessen of Towner, Kristi Tonnessen (Steven Eskildsen) of Rugby and Travis Powell (Morgan Heslin) of Denver, Colorado; her great grandchildren, Cash Boston, Liam Hessman, Casen Boston, Collins Boston and Sadie Hessman; and her brother Olis G Lauppe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swaim Funeral Chapel of Sublette (115 S Inman St, Sublette, KS 67877). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sublette United Methodist Church (206 E Carson, Sublette, KS 67867).
Memorials are suggested to the Sublette United Methodist Church or Pioneer Manor in care of the funeral home.
