He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gruber and Ruth Gruber (Schawang); his in-laws, Kenneth, Rogatia Sextro and Rick Bassett; and his brother-in-law Rick Bassett.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Sextro; his children, Elizabeth (Ryan), Amanda Robinette (Steve), Adam (Jessica), Raymond (Tiffany), Jacob (Shelby) and Theresa Gruber; his grandchildren, Janelle, Isaac, Tessa, Trent, Reece, Jordy, Aidan, Connor, Nora, Levi, Raelynn, Aryss, Paityn, Myra, Chloe, Ava, Keith, Jonah, Amelia, James and John; and his siblings, Charles Gruber (Jane), Ramona Schuster (Jerry), Delmer Gruber (Debbie), Roberta Meier (Mike), Ruby Gruber and Merlin Gruber (Lori). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
The family prefers memorials be made to; Sacred Heart School, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Morrill Fire Department, or Lewy Body Dementia Association.
