She was predeceased by: her parents, Heriberto Montoya and Candelaria Montoya (Favela); and her daughters, Maria Elena Santillan and Lucila Santillan. She is survived by: her children, Raul Santillan (Holly) and Rosa Santillan-Vasquez (Valentin); and her siblings, Felix Montoya (Lucia), Alfredo Montoya (Leti), Vicente Montoya and Hilda Lechuga. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (1011 S Jefferson St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Moscow Cemetery (2120 High School St, Moscow, KS 67952). A Mass will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Helen Catholic Church (1011 S Jefferson St, Hugoton, KS 67951).
