He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurther J. Bachner and Lela Bachner (Bade); his children, Aurther Bachner and Christine Thomas; his stepson Robert Hutchinson; and his siblings, Charles Bachner and Jacqueline Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Berna Bachner; his daughters, Kathleen Oppman of North Carolina and Jane Kelley of North Carolina; his stepson Jon Hutchison of Manito, Illinois; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Hutchinson of Joplin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
