Beatrice Riggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Riggs of Moundridge, Kansas, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Beatrice Riggs to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis S. Peters and Anna B. Peters (Mininger); her husbands, LeRoy Schmidt and Archie Riggs; and her grandchildren, Jodi and Jesse Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Schmidt (Marsha) of Arthur, Marla Campbell (Roger) of Newton, Jason Riggs (Luci) of Moundridge and Jewel Martin (Michael) of Tonasket, Washington; her siblings, Wilbert Peters (Imo), Louise Ensz (Abe) of Brooksville, MS., Lois Eicher (William) of Brooksville, MS. and Kathleen Wenger (John) of Brooksville, MS.; and her siblings-in-law, Vesta Peters, LaVerna Unruh, JoAnn Schmidt and L. John Becker. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Meridian Church of God in Christ (2894 Apache Rd, Hesston, KS 67062).
