Homer Goering Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Homer Goering of Moundridge, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Homer Goering to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian S. Goering and Marie Goering (Kaufman); his wife Dorothy Ewert; his son Jerome; his siblings, Delia Graber, Erna Stucky, Lola Beth Ediger, Olin and Gene Goering; and his siblings-in-law, Janet Goering, Ruth Goering, Grace Brandt, Verne Graber, Ray Ediger and Harvey J. Stucky.
He is survived by: his sons, Vaughn of Peabody, Larry (Sarah) of McPherson, Roy (Sheralyn) of Newton, Ron (Cecilia) of Moundridge and Sam (Marcia) of Moundridge; and his brother-in-law Raymond Brandt of North Newton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Eden Mennonite Church (401 18th Ave, Moundridge, KS 67107).
Memorials may be given to Pine Village or Gentiva Hospice in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
