Orville Dwight Waltner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orville Dwight Waltner of Moundridge, Kansas, who passed away on August 7, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Orville Dwight Waltner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto J. Waltner and Marie Waltner (Schrag); his siblings, Robert Waltner, Delene Goering and Marjean Stucky; his grandson Anthony Bowers, Jr.; and his great grandchild Gad Waltner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Waltner of Moundridge; his children, Alan Waltner (Tina) of Moundridge, Scott Waltner (Kendra) of Moundridge, Julia Waltner of Kettle Falls, WA and Sandra Koontz (Stephen) of Benton; and his siblings, Glenn Waltner (Marilyn) of Denver, CO, Luene Flickinger (LaVerne) of Moundridge and Marianne Seacat of Wichita. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moundridge Funeral Home (115 Cole St, Moundridge, KS 67107). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Eden Mennonite Church (401 18th Ave, Moundridge, KS 67107).
