It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles R Cooper of Mulvane, Kansas, born in Bluff City, Kansas, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jim Cooper; his sister Dulcenia Showalter; and his brother-in-law Curtis Showalter. He is survived by: his wife Pam Cooper; his children, Kelsey Hazel (Saige) of Anthony, KS, Jessi Wineinger (Andy) of Norwich, KS and David Smithhisler of Wichita, KS; his mother Marvella Christensen (Ron); his brother J. R. Cooper (Anna); his grandchildren, Max, Jillian, Alex, Wesley Wineinger, Austin and Kaiden Hazel; his niece Kyla Norman (Chad); and his nephew Aaron Showalter (Erin). He is also survived by three great-nieces, one great-nephew, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
