Elisabeth Lessor Obituary
We announce the death of Elisabeth Lessor of Mulvane, Kansas, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 89. Elisabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Lessor; her son Aribert Stay; her son-in-law Helmut Scherer; her parents, Elisabeth Plitt and Karl Feldheiser III; and her siblings, Klaus Feldheiser and Gertrude Klein.
She is survived by: her children, Karola Scherer and Mark Lessor (Jean); her daughter-in-law Helga Stay; and her grandchildren, Marco Scherer, Lucas Stay and Melanie Speyer. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Mortuary (501 E Louis Blvd, Mulvane, KS 67110). A rosary was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulvane Chapel (501 E Louis Blvd, Mulvane, KS 67110). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Smith Mortuary (501 E Louis Blvd, Mulvane, KS 67110).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Elisabeth's memory to the Kansas Food Bank, helping provide food assistance to individuals and families throughout Kansas.
