We announce the death of Judith Ann Downing in Mulvane, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Sidney Zaring, Sr. and Lorene Maxlie Davis-Kralicek; her grandparents, Alonzo Sidney, May Lillian Zaring, Joe and Thelma Davis; and her siblings, Robert L. Kralicek, Jr., Donna Kralicek-Maxwell, Barbara Kralicek-Reyes and Rita Kralicek.
She is survived by: her children, Debra M. Griffin-Prather (John), Katherine S. Conner and Jason A. Downing (Crystal); her grandchildren, Michelle Crowder (Kenneth), Kayla Apostolidis (James), Zach Middleton and Jillian Conner; her great grandchildren, Ryland, Korina, Violet, Shiloh, August, Juliet Crowder, Ester, Fitz and Juniper Apostolidis; and her siblings, Pat Henry and Walter Zaring, Jr..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Old Mission Mortuary (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67208). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Wichita Park Cemetery (3424 E 21st St N, Wichita, KS 67220).
