It is with sadness that the passing of Peggy Jo Strait (Mulvane, Kansas) is shared. Peggy, born on July 5, 1945, passed away on June 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorena Mae Burnham and Fred Burnham, Sr.; her husband Hershel Dean Strait; her daughter Marjorie Gail Strait; her siblings, Fred Burnham, Jr., Linda Willis and Jeannie Kirby; and her pet GusGus Cotton Candy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Benita (Gilbert "Lucky" Thornton) and Teresa (Brett Russell); her grandchildren, Joshua, Jennifer Russell, Amanda, Kevin Conrad, Amy, Ismail Mbalima, Samantha and Heath Snedeker; her great grandchildren, Maddalyn, Wyatt, Sophia, Elizabeth, Denzil, Sara and Ella; and her brothers, Gene Burnham and Mike Burnham.
