He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dalton Hunt and Nellie O. Ratliff Hunt; his daughter Darla Jean; his siblings, Rena Imel (Andy), Vivian Hughbanks (Frank), Lloyd Hunt (Miriam), Joan, June Crenshaw (George), Duane Hunt (Lula), Max Hunt (Phyllis) and Wilda Brock (Ray); his in-laws, George and Pearl Kelsey; his brother-in-law Jim Kelsey (Delores); his niece Darla; and his son-in-law Charles.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamala Jane; his grandchildren, Kelsey Hazel (Saige), Jessi Wineinger (Andy) and David Smithhisler; and his great grandchildren, Max, Austin, Jillian, Kaiden, Alex and Wesley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Home (602 E Main St, Anthony, KS 67003). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Attica Cemetery (1103 NW 60 Rd, Attica, KS 67009). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Mennonite Church (1020 E 14th St, Harper, KS 67058).
Memorials may be made to Rivercross Hospice or the Kansas Honor Flight, and can be sent in care of Prairie Rose Funeral Home, 602 E. Main St., Anthony, KS 67003.
