He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Wenke and Betty Jo Wenke; his brother Karl Douglas "Doug" Wenke Sr.; his son Raymond Allen Bowers; his grandson Donovan Isaac Murry; his niece Ruby Eileen Zackula; and his nephews, Joshua Ray Zackula, Jerad Steven Shields and Jordan Sheilds.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Wenke; his children, Janelle Roland (Danny), Anna Wenke, Barbara Murry, Mary Leonard and Richie Ozatea; and his brother Mike Wenke (Diana). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with the American Legion Riders.
