He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Luhman and Alvina Luhman (Tatkenhorst); and his siblings, Merlin Luhman, Eldon Luhman, Byrdene Mason and Bonnie Schlesener.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Beth Luhman of Kansas City, Lisa Gruhn (Frederick, Jr.) of Olathe, Kansas and Brian Luhman (Charlotte) of Natoma, Kansas; his sister Brenda Price of Salina, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Brianna Gough, Jack Gruhn, Emmett Gruhn and Keith Gruhn.
A memorial has been established with Peace Lutheran Church.
