He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Piatt, Jr. and Betty Jean (Davis); and his brothers, Clayton Dean Piatt and Donnie Piatt. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Jeff Piatt (Anne), Lori Kelley, David Piatt (Tiffany) and Staci Ray (Jacody); and his grandchildren, Kelley, Joshua Piatt (Johna), Beth Ann Winter (Matt), Tiffany Culbertson (Benny), Jacie, Delanie, Benton, Justice, Maxson, McCoy, Takoda, Mollie, Mason and Saylor Jo.
