It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim C. Hunt (Neodesha, Kansas), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jim touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hunt and Roberta Hunt (Goodway); and his nephews, Bradley Lewis and Justin Vincen. He is survived by: his daughter Destinee Dye of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kinsley and Rhyse; and his siblings, David Lewis (JoLynn) of Wichita, Kansas, Randy Hunt (Pat) of Fredonia, Kansas, Jerry Hunt (Sylvia) of Cherryvale, Kansas, Kim Hunt (Paula) of Fredonia, Kansas and Robin Vincen (Brian) of Cherryvale, Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jim's Residence (14256 500 Rd, Neodesha, KS 66757).
