She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Ummel and Dana Ummel (Douglass); her husband George Dale Carr; and her son Frank Carr. She is survived by : her children, Jarrod Carr (Tiffany) of Ellinwood and Maria Carr of Great Bend; her siblings, Edward, Lester Ummel, Barbara Kisslinger and JoAnn Walker; her grandson Brandon Carr; her stepgrandchildren, Tiara Lawson (Collan) and Nick Espinosa; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Elliana Lawson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Golden Belt Humane Society in Great Bend or the Ellinwood EMS.
