He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Plenert and Helen Plenert (Hiebert); his siblings, Lavern, Roland, Gordon, Doris and Raymon; his sons, David Scott and James Bradley; and his great grandchild Tindley Grace Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Plenert; his children, Karen Sleeth, Jack Plenert (Cindy), Ron Plenert (Nancy) and Debbie Miller (Blake); and his brother John Plenert. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great‑grandchildren; and 9 great‑great‑grandchildren.
