She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Wiebe and Ruby Wiebe; and her husband Orlando Ernest Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, Ron Schmidt (Rachel) of Pampa, Texas, Jerry Schmidt (Pam) of Kirkwood, Missouri, Roger Schmidt of Kirkwood, Missouri and Janell Loh (Gary) of Wheeling. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
