She was predeceased by: her husband Jay Hanson; her parents, Ann Berry and Ernest Berry; and her brothers, J. David and Gerald Berry.
She is survived by: her children, William Hanson (Barb) of Wichita, KS, Larry Hanson of Maize, KS and Kathleen Barker of Cottonwood, AZ; and her grandchildren, Brandon and Tatum.
Memorial contributions in honor of Bernice may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society in Newton, Kansas.
