He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Rucker and Lula Rucker (Bruce); his sister Mary Ellen; and his great grandchild Ezra. He is survived by: his wife Hallie Hougland; his children, Russell Rucker, Jeanie Fuller, Gail Jackson (Larry) and Joanie Pauls (Doug); and his brother Doug Rucker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Missionary Church (1300 Berry Ave, Newton, KS 67114).
Memorials may be made to First Missionary Church and left in care of the funeral home.
