He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwin B. Griswold and May A. Griswold; his former wife Eleanor; and his brother Don Griswold. He is survived by: his son Edwin D. Griswold (Jill) of Newton; his wife Connie Griswold of Newton; and his sister MaryAnn Hankin of McLean, Virginia. He is also survived by nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-children.
Memorials are suggested to either Newton Presbyterian Manor or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left in care of the funeral home.
