It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dix Rd of Newton, Kansas, born in Seymour, Missouri, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Gilbert and Edna Cora (Turner); his wife Doris Carol Brixey; his daughter Carol Leann; and his siblings, Roy, Bill, June Smikle and Judy Lawson.

He is survived by : his son Charles (Wendy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
