He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Gertrude Croft (Altig); his wife Dolores Croft (Dee); his father Bill Croft (Bill); his brother Jim (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Pat Croft, Bud Jordeth and Jim Fabricius; his daughter-in-law Becky Croft; his grandson Quinn Stephens; and his close friend Lucy Janzen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joyce Jordeth and Patsy Fabricius; his children, David Croft (Judy) of Honolulu, Dennis Croft of Newton, Doug Croft (Cindy) of Newton and Deanna Baker (Kurt) of Peabody, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Christopher Hamm, Amanda Croft (Catherine), Erin Goniea (Ally), Trevor Hamm (Kelsea), Pearl Carrera (Chris) and Doug Dickerson (Hannah); and his great grandchildren, Hailey, Portia, Raegan, Makenzi, Mason, Adi, Gemma, Rosalie, Savannah and Dylan.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Legion, Post 2, Parade of Flags.
