It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ellen Schneider of Newton, Kansas, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Brainard and Lena Brainard (Nickel); her spouse Lavern "Skeet" Schneider; and her brother Robert Brainard. She is survived by : her children, Ronald Schneider (Jeana) of Hesston, Valerie Schneider (John Dowling) of Phoenix and Cheryl Kristenson (Bryan) of Newton; her siblings, Beverly Willems, Susie Ashcraft of Newton and Roy Brainard of Garden City; her grandchildren, Clint Schneider (Liz), Rachelle Schneider (Josh Atkins) and Scott Kristenson (Tabby); and her great grandchildren, Angelica and Leonard Schneider.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church at 200 W 6th St., Newton, KS 67114.
