She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Dorland and Dorothy Dorland (Burres); her husband Milford Sommerfeld; her grandchildren, Kyle McMannis and Jill Lee (Ewert); her son-in-law Bob Ewert; and her siblings, Leonard, Glen Dorland, Sylvia Flaming and Margaret Morris.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine McMannis (Jeff) of Canton, Jackie Ewert of Canton and Tami Kohlman (Greg); her sister Mary Fleming (Charles); and her close friend Laurie Hall of Newton. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
