He was predeceased by: his parents, Gale Lorene and Thaddia Garrison (Waylon); his stepfather Lester Smith; his daughter Stacy Lynn; his sisters, Deanna McCullick and Sandra Nordyke; his brothers-in-law, Ken McCullick and Jesse Nordyke; and his grandson Jonah Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Slavik; his daughters, Shelly Geiman (Tad) and Marcie McGavran (Mike); his stepdaughters, Michelle Martin (Bob) and Lisa Wagner (Rick); his grandchildren, Kylie Hershey (Justin), Kacie Smith (Tanner), Jayce, Kamryn Geiman, Madison, Mason, Micah McGavran, Grace, Noah Martin, Lily and Rex Wagner; his brother-in-law Jim Zenger (Rhonda); and his cousin Ed Garrison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Newton Presbyterian Manor and be left in care of the funeral home.
